Dietrich Buxtehude’s  „Christmas Music“ is suited remarkably well for the numerous Advent and  Christmas services as well as the general religious services which choruses  take part in every  year.<br>
 Although  characterized by an extreme economy and simplicity of means, this nevertheless  opulent-sounding work possesses its own special Christmas magic. It is a piece  which  can rightly claim its place in the choral repertoire of today.
