Arcadian pastoral play well-known in Mozart's day, enabled the twelveyear-old composer to appear in public for the first time as a singspiel composer. Today it is only remembered in Mozart's setting, which is a particular favorite among conservatory students. The vocal score is also suitablem for performances with piano accompaniment and contains, for the first time, all additional stanzas and all existing recitatives.<br>
