Rusalka's Song to the Moon from Act 1 of the opera does credit to the work as a whole as a key moment in terms of the plot and the music; this is when, at the beginning of the opera, the scene is set for the symbolic encounter of the fairy realm and the world of human joys and passions. The piano score arranged by Karel Solc contains the text of the song in Czech, German (Robert Brock) and English (Daphne Rusbridge).
