The composer, pianist and piano teacher Leopold Koželuch (1747-1818) was one of the leading Czech musicians in 18th-century Vienna.<br>

Of the total of eleven symphonies which are reliably authenticated as those of Koželuch, this volume presents the three most mature which at times show affinities with the Viennese symphonic music of Haydn and Mozart.<br>
