Choral works represent an important part of the oeuvre of Petr Eben (1929-2007), a leading Czech composer, organist and teacher. The cycle ”Greek Dictionary“ from 1974 comprises nine two-part, three-part or four-part works for female choir with harp or piano accompaniment, whose texts are based on a single word or pair of words in Greek.
