Sounds of the City by Widmar Hader is a composition filled with festive atmosphere.  In its five short movements, the composer sensitively draws on sound possibilities of the brass instruments set against pure harmony and thorough development of motifs, which are typical for Hader's musical language.  Despite its moderate size, the piece is a unique composition for unique occasions.<br>
